The first issue of Time (March 3, 1923), featuring Speaker Joseph G. Cannon. Time magazine was created in 1923 by Briton Haden and Henry Luce, making it the first weekly news magazine in the United States. Time inc is one of the world’s most influential media companies- its home to 90 iconic brands as well as more than 50 diverse brands within the united kingdom. Their digital properties include more than 50 websites reaching 120 million monthly digital visitors, 1 billion user-initiated video streams and a social footprint of 146 million through the platforms of social media such as face book, twitter and YouTube. magazines such as NOW and Women's magazine are published  by Time Inc.


IPC
IPC was founded in 1957 as the Institute for Printed Circuits. As more electronics assembly companies became involved with the association, the name was changed to the Institute for Interconnecting and Packaging Electronic Circuits. By the 1990s, most people in the industry could not remember the full name and/or didn't agree on what the words in the name meant. Since the 1957, IPC has been guiding the electronic interconnection industry throughout the years. A global trade association dedicated to the competitive excellence and financial success of its more than 3,500 member companies.
